 Becoming a mother IS the rebirth of a woman. To be reborn, we must be willing to bend and surrender to what is shifting and evolving within us…

Yet, many of us struggle with this because of the conditioning we have received from our society; and from our families of origin.

When these influences come together many women experience discomfort and challenge in their mothering, and see themselves as failing in some way. I want you to know that this is a symptom of living out of alignment with
your truth. But it doesn't have to be that way..

I’m Yara Heary, and I help mothers go from surviving to thriving on their terms.

I am a registered psychologist, a wife, mother of two, and singer – in which ever order works best on any given day!  Life After Birth Psychology began following the birth of my first son which threw me into another journey of self-rediscovery. Along this journey I learnt to reconnect with the innate wisdom of my body, to become better attuned to the needs of my inner child, to disentangle from the influences of the outside world, and to ultimately create a vision of motherhood that was mine. 

My belief is that we all have the answers we need within ourselves. My role is to support you in tuning into or returning to your true inner voice. 

Over my years as a therapist, I have cultivated my gift of holding space for women to honestly explore themselves and I am now bringing this healing to more women through The Rebirth group coaching.

Your Questions Answered

When does the group start?

The group starts on Wednesday 16th August at 10am AWST (Perth, West Australia). All calls are on the same day and time, and last up to 2hrs.

There is a break week scheduled after ever two modules to provide opportunity for integration, catching up, and a supportive pace for your nervous system. 

There are 4 integration weeks in total spread out over the full 13 weeks. In each of these integration weeks, there is an open voxer day on The Wednesday, instead of a call. You can send Yara voice messages of up to 10mins in total in support of your integration of the material covered. The voxer days are not to be used as therapy but rather as coaching to help you problem solve and better understand how to apply the concepts being taught.

The live sessions will include a check in, group work, expansion on the pre-recorded content, breath, imagery, or somatic practices, and an opportunity for feedback/coaching.

Is The Rebirth like psychological therapy?

Although my knowledge base is rooted in psychological concepts and interventions, I am delivering this group in a coaching capacity where I'll be providing education and skills training. The Rebirth IS NOT therapy.

If you are in crisis or are experiencing acute mental health distress which is impacting your ability to meet your everyday responsibilities, I encourage you to engage with a mental health practitioner in addition to this group. You could start by heading to the PANDA website or contacting PANDA's perinatal mental health line (in Australia) on 1300 726 306

This group is not a substitute for clinical psychological intervention for acute mental health disturbances but would be highly complementary to individual therapy.

Can I claim this on Medicare or private insurance?

The Rebirth is NOT group therapy. I am delivering this group program in my capacity as a coach. As such, The Rebirth is not claimable on Medicare or via private insurance.

What happens after I purchase the program?

You will receive an email confirmation of your purchase which will include info on how to access to your dedicated member's area where all the recordings of the session will be accessible even after the course ended. 

You will then also receive a separate welcome email to the group, which includes all the details including live call dates and time.




How do I work through the program?

  • After getting access to your account with PODIA, I encourage you to start getting though module 1 - IMPRINT. 
  • Once you have access to the private facebook community, introduce yourself and get cosy!
  •  The pre-recorded content for each week will become accessible 7 days before the relevant live call. I have done this to ensure we work through the content as a group. Also the content builds on understandings from the previous weeks.
  • Listen to any pre-listening prior to the live calls.
  • Show up to the live calls where possible or watch the replays.
  • Complete embodiment/regulation/reflection practices in between live sessions.
  • Enhance your experience by engaging with and contributing to the community.

What support do I recieve throughout the program?

You will receive coaching and education within the live group calls and support from myself and the other mamas via the Facebook community.

Additionally there are 4 x open voxer days over the 3 months where you can send me private voice or text messages for additional support in integrating the program material. 

What is your refund policy?
